Galvalume Steel Coil

Galvalume Steel Coil

Galvalume Steel Coil is a steel sheet with aluminum-zinc alloy on the surface. It combines the corrosion resistance of aluminum and the sacrificial protection of zinc. It is widely used in construction, home appliances, automobiles and other fields.

Product characteristics

1. Strong corrosion resistance

- The coating composition is 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. The corrosion resistance is 2-6 times that of pure galvanized sheet, especially resistant to atmospheric corrosion (such as salt spray and acid rain).

- Aluminum forms a dense oxide film, and zinc provides cathodic protection, double protection.

2. High temperature resistance

- It can withstand high temperatures of 300℃ for a long time (up to 600℃ in the short term), which is better than galvanized coil (only about 200℃), and is suitable for high temperature environments.

3. Heat reflectivity

- The aluminum-zinc coating reflects more than 80% of infrared rays, which is suitable for roofing materials and reduces building energy consumption.

4. Processing performance

- The coating has strong adhesion and can be stamped, bent and sheared, but attention should be paid to the risk of coating cracking (the processing deformation rate needs to be controlled).

5. Appearance diversity

- The surface can be colored (PVDF, PE and other coatings), embossed and other treatments to enhance the aesthetics.

Main uses

1. Construction field

- Roof/wall: lightweight and weather-resistant, especially suitable for coastal and industrial areas (such as airports and factories).

- Ventilation ducts: resistant to high temperature and condensation corrosion.

- Steel structure auxiliary materials: such as purlins and canopies.

2. Home appliance manufacturing

- Air conditioner outer casing, refrigerator back panel, oven liner (using high temperature resistance).

3. Automobile industry

- Exhaust pipe heat shield, fuel tank parts (need to cooperate with deep drawing process).

4. Other applications

- Granary (anti-mildew), solar bracket (resistant to outdoor corrosion), cable tray, etc.
